Congrats Marc! I knew this was coming for you, and I know it's just the beginning. I have no doubt you will have a very successful career. We're all lucky to have such a rare talent among us willing to share his truly unique vision.
Dittos from me, Marc - there are a lot of fine photographers posting here, but your images are on a completely different level. This image is typical in showcasing your very unique ability to capture incredible drama and excitement unfolding in the landscape - truly amazing! I'm looking forward to having your series of future published collections on my coffee table someday..!
Congratulations Marc, I'm sure you've heard it before, but your photography is absolutely amazing - you deserve all the recognition you can get. I am glad we have such a great photographer right here in Corvallis!
So a funny story (at least between my wife and I) I thought I'd share here.
It took me a year or so of lurking on this site to finally get up the nerve to join and post my first image. It was the best shot I had taken with my new digital SLR, even if it was handheld while my son bounced around in the pack on my back. I hadn't created anything better, so I posted and anxiously waited for the arrows to fly. I got a few great critiques.
The very next post was another member posting his first image to this forum, a Mr. Marc Adamus. It was awesome, and quickly dried up any discussion on my photo. So I joked with my wife about this pro, posting his first image here and hijacking my parade
Every time a new mag comes to my house with another Marc Adamus photo in it, we have a chuckle thinking back to that.
Marc, you clearly have more talent in your fingernail than I have in my entire body, but thanks for sharing your time and images here. Though I can't proficiently demonstrate it, I know that you and the other members of this site have taught me a ton w.r.t. this hobby I enjoy so much.
