I've read previous suggestions and guidelines on posting but my problem is that I can't seem to find the "Save for Web" option. Is it possible that it is not included in PS 5? Thanks, Michel
Just to note: The 'Save for the Web' function in PhotoShop is actually tied to the Adobe program called Image Ready. This is the program that is installed.
In PS 5.0.2 and later versions there will be an icon on the 'Tools' palette that allows you bring up Image Ready. A command in the 'File' menu brings up the 'Save for Web' applet without having to access it from Image Ready.
Image Ready is a nice application that allows you make image maps, animated gifs and other stuff for use of images on the web. Check it out!

5 repliesIt looks as though "Save for Web" didn't come into being until Photoshop 5.5....

Way back then, we duplicated the image and manually set the DPI to 72 and resized the image. With the save for web, PS just is automating your task.
Good luck,
Carol
Thanks for your posting. I also have PSE 5.0 and just dowloaded the latest upgrade 5.0.2 which does have Save for the Web.
