Common Lizard
Hi to all,
Common Lizard , photographed this morning whilst he was basking on a log , this being my first lizard sighting was made all the more special when 5 more lizards came out to bask in the sunshine , at the start of the day I'd have settled for 1 but to see 6 really made my day ( thanks to Glyn Hudson for taking me to lizard city , cheers mate  ) the only down side was having to shoot with the 500mmF4 as I'd left the 300mmF4 in the car :frown: a lesson learned.

Levels , Usm (100,0.3,0 x2) , S/h , large crop ( couldn't get very close with the 500mm )

Canon 20D , 500mmF4IS , WH/v2 , Gitzo1325
1/200th @ F11 iso400 E/c-1/3 jpeg

All comments and advice most welcome

Kind regards
Andy...

Hi Andy

Not an easy species - a very nice pose with the tail curled round and for a large crop it stands out quite well against 'what is for the lizard' an ideal BG!
