Claret Cup in Echo Park

Howdy,
Another one from last weekend at DNM.
Claret cup seems to be one of the most dominant wildflowers at the moment.
This is a composite of 2 images. The afternoon light is still quite harsh on the canyon walls and I wish I had a few clouds.

Hey Chuck. It looks like the dynamic range you were working with was very difficult. Even with the composite image this still looks a bit contrasty but given the time of day that is very understandable. The red on those blooms is very striking. Thanks for sharing!
