Dodging herds of hikers, no doubt! I love that spot, though I've always shot it horizontally and from off to the right (like everyone else, I've noticed). This is a novel perspective - I'm not sure about the stream leaving the frame on the right, but the color and stillness of the foliage are gorgeous!
I was over at Gorton Creek this afternoon, fighting sun and wind (alternately). Looks like I needed to be out there a few hours earlier!
Thanks Tom, and Zach... Agree about the right.. until I get my 16-35, I'm suffering by using all the width I can garner with my 24mm. It seemed to be the best I could get it with the equipment at hand..
I felt like I was running late there - hit the stream about 7 to journey up. Lately I have been arriving around 5 am to get into my destinations. I didn't see anyone until well after 10 am up there - and then they were in droves....
Really, really, Ned, no one does these better than you. Really nice comp and awesomely processed.

Ned - about 70% of the time I can't view your images. All I get is the little broken picture frame icon that indicates the image is unavailable or corupt. This is a bummer because I'm always missing out on your great images. Sometimes I can't view the image one time but if I come back later I can. I have not experienced this with anyone else's posts on the forum. Does anyone else have this issue with Ned's posts and is there an easy fix?
