Sunset at Ecola
I went digging into my archive to find some images to re-work with CS3 and ACR 4.0. This was my first one. I did use a grad here, but the sun was a bit much. I recovered some of it, but it's still bright. I do think I was able to get more out of this image with the new software than I did before. Since I haven't gotten out much recently I've been going over some previous images and working on a new web page design.

Canon 20D
10-22 Lens
1/5s @ f22.0
ISO 100
Neutral Grad (I don't remember the stops)

This is beautiful. Not sure why nobody is commenting, but I dig this one!

It's a good'un. Everybody who thinks so, say so.

Yes, I like the way the light plays in the water. Good save.

Very nice! I especially like the vertical orientation - tempting to stay in horizonal mode at the coast, but this does a great job of pulling your eyes into the image. It's a beautiful composition, and the colors are pleasantly sublte.

I love it, great sky and glow on the rocks. Maybe even more contrast in the sky around the sun for more impact, not sure, but it certainly is great as is.
