Just a little comic relief :)

Well I'm gradually recovering from my knee surgery, and on Saturday, Marie insisted I get out of the house for something other than work. It felt good to get out and spend some time at the mill pond with the camera. I sat at a picnic table and snapped a few shots while Marie and her mom walked around the pond. Then I managed to go for a short (very short) walk, and went home to see if I got anything worthwhile.

I got a big chuckle out of this one :)

A nice bit of comic relief. Thanks for sharing.

This made me laugh, but it's also a really great shot. I think a vertical crop of just the ducks (mallards? I'm not a bird guy) makes a really strong comp.

Curtis,
This is a pretty good one. It would be nice if indeed you did have Aflac.

Hahaha! If you didn't mind having punchline captions associated with this photo, it would make a great bit of stock photography, maybe cropped as Paul suggested. Caption possibility: "Are you tired of being chased around by bill collectors?"

Gave me a good giggle, too. Aren't they silly looking, and just cute! Great photo. Glad you're getting out now. Must be a relief, and hope you get around the corner on your recovery quickly.

Thanks folks. I'll play around with a crop. I'm not real crazy about the BG but maybe cropping will help that, but the feet are cut off as well, and that's what really bugs me.

But that doesn't take away from the comical result. I glad y'all are getting as good a chuckle from these guys as I did. :) Paul, I don't know what they are either. I'm bird challenged as well
