I'm thinking to go to Mammoth Lake to Bishop area.
Is it a good time to go there, or should I wait till June / July?

Subrata, anytime is a good time!! But seriously, it depends on what you're looking for. Right now is great because the blood sucking skeeters haven't arrived yet. However, if you're looking for flowers, it's still appears a bit early. the irises in round valley and bishop are blooming. Up high things are starting to green up on the aspens. Saw some sierra shooting stars yesterday. Preston would know more about the mammoth area, as I really haven't explored much up there, YET!
I camped in Round Valley two years ago in May. The weather wasn't too hot yet and no mosquitoes. It was ridiciclously windy at Mono Lake though. There was a lot of snow still on the mountains near June Lake which looked really cool. Sonora Pass looked awesome! Snow everywhere. Bishop is too hot for my tastes in the summer though it gets a lot cooler if you stay up in the mountains.
Might be a bit early but checkout the Mammoth Ski area and see if the snow has melted and if you can even get out to Minaret Vista yet? OR Just call them first and ask. .

When the road down to Devil's Postpile will open? There is some GOOD stuff down there.....
You should have marmots up on the road to Tioga....and since Tioga is open...
might be some nice pools for early and late images...
I heard there might be some clouds....Mono Lake is always good....
Looking to head up again in a few weeks.....
went to Bodie/Mono in March. BUT NOW the "Whoa Nellie Deli" is OPEN
I am interested in shooting stars if anyone knows where they are handing out??
Well, I spoke to someone in visitor center. They suggest that, flowers will appear in late June / early July. Still there is snow and last ski day is Monday.
All roads will be open by Saturday. Probably I will wait till 4th of July weekend for Yosemite to Mammoth Lake area. And Bishop in October.
