Canon ST-E2 Wireless Transmitter Question

I've read on a couple of sites that the ST-E2 wireless transmitter can trigger the Canon MT-24EX Macro Twin Flash remotely. Can anyone verify this? I own the MT-24 and don't see any way to set it in slave mode after scouring the manual. I've also not had any luck finding the ST-E2 manual online to try to answer the question.
Any help would be appreciated.
