Moab Flower ID
Hi Folks,

Was out in Moab last weekend and snapped these flowers. Anybody
have any idea of what they are?

Also, the Globe Mallow were out of this world! But that is another
post.

Oooh, really niiice! Love the full frame shot as well as the buds amongst the blooms. Very pretty.

I believe it's called Baby White Aster, though may be a different kind of aster.

I think Guy has it. A wonderful picture; love the repetition and the overall flower quality.

Thanks everyone! When printing it out last night, I actually cropped some of the left of the picture off.
And I think it looks better. Reason is that on the far left, there is almost solid flowers with no space. So
this kind of looks weird when compared to the spacing in the rest of the frame.

With the crop, the space in the frame is distributed better. (I think)

Nice! Nice! Nice!

Did you happen to use a bit of fill flash to cause the background to go black? I really like the resulting effect.

Hi Ken,

Image was shot RAW, then I used CS3's "Blacks" slider to blacken the background.
