Spring has past
This is one of the images I took this spring. It was taken at Turkey Run State Park after a rain.

I'm just dropping in as I've been too busy still as of late to participate much. Hope everyone is well.

Robert,

This has the true Elliot Porter look and is one of the nicest images seen here this spring. I posted a vertical images of a hardwood forest a few weeks ago and can really appreciate the work that goes into a so like this. You did a great job, especially with the merges ( or lack of!) with the trees. The dogwoods just put the icing on the cake---5 stars!

Beautiful image Robert. I really like the composition - did you grab this on your 4x5? It would make a great print.

Joel, I wish I had taken it with the 4x5. The problem was that this was taken at the 200 end of my lens and on a cropped body. I don't a lf lens that could reach it without some very serious cropping.

Thanks for the comments

This is awesome Robert, the dogwood blooms add a great touch to this, I get a real sense of the forest you were working in this. Exceptional work. :toast:

Great scene, Robert, and well captured with just enough white from the dogwood flowers to set the mood.

Yeah, that makes sense Robert. I didn't know what end of the lens you were shooting on. I don't have any long lenses for my 4x5 either, though getting a 720mm tele does sound appealing at times!
