I was riding along the Blue Ridge Parkway on Tuesday. Just finished shooting sunrise and came along this photo. Wasn't thinking about this kind of shot. The sun behind the tree just caught my eye as I was driving.
Assume morning, felt like I was the only person on the Mountain, except for the guy who spent the night up there with his telescope.
Weather was great but late morning the smoke from the South Georgia fires started blowing in.
Just thought I would share the photo. Haven't posted anything in a while.
Very nice, peaceful shot. If anything, maybe I would like to see you give the tree a little more breathing room at the top and sides. It feels a little cramped.
