It is time to grasp the nettle! I have 3 screens that need colour calibration as only one seems reliable-ish at the moment.
There seem to be a myriad of solutions on offer, a friend gets on well with the Spyder2 Pro so that is high on my list, but I'm interested to know what do others use and if would you recommend them?
I am working my way (albeit slowly) through Tim Grey's Color management book. Great bedtime reading!
I had the same, that the spider pro will only calibrate one screen.
I just calibrate my main working screen and not the other which I use for the fotoshop tools or other stuff open at the same time as PS.
Calibrating, in addition with having printer profiles made, one for each paper I use to print with, has made all the difference and I now get what I see on my calibrated screen onto a print. What joy!
My subject .... Windows will only allow one monitor profile to be loaded at a time meaning that on a dual monitor setup only one monitor will be correct.
Look at the Gretag Macbeth/X-rite Eye One, this is the only system that matched all of our workstation monitors at the museum....
