Frosty spring morning, RMNP
Is it really almost June? Can they really get Trail Ridge open by tomorrow?

Just a preview while I wait for the 4x5 to be developed.

I was thinking the same thing this morning as I saw Pikes Peak COMPLETELY covered in snow again. There is a hardly a speck of rock visible on the peak right now. Gotta love this unpredictable spring weather and all the photo ops it brings.

I like this fresh blues here. I'm guessing you can see the green leaves in the snow at full res, so I'll bet this will turn out really cool.

I took Rebecca, my daughter Emily and one of her friends up to red Rocks yesterday to see Celtic Woman in concert. Needless tosay after a long drive in rain, snow and whatever wanted to drop from the sky, the concert was postponed till June. Seesh! I did however see some pretty wildflowers set in a dusting of snow all along the roadsides. This morning I went to the Garden of the Gods and got squat for scenics and ended up shooting some small collections of early wildflowers. Now I'm at home and I just saw a low layer of clouds framing Pikes Peak and the freshly fallen snow and frost! man the photo gods are against me today! You on the other hand have a very nice image here!

When I was up in RMNP I was wondering if GOG got a dusting of snow. I guess not this time - the snowline for this storm was a bit higher. I didn't see any snow on the drive up from Fort Collins on 34, but when I rounded the corner into Estes and Long's Peak came into view, there was a dusting of snow on all the trees starting just above Estes.

2-3" up along the Peak-to-Peak last night, melting fast this morning.

We got 2-3" in Woodland Park/Divide last night. Very pretty morning with the snow, fog, and clear blue skies. I took some snaps but haven't looked at them yet. If I have anything to share I'll post tonight.

I'm still ready for summer!

The light and clouds looked pretty cool on my way to work this morning but I was running late and didn't bring the cam. Durn day job!
