Hi Brian,I think this crop works fine,I think if it were mine I may have cropped just above the stones at the bottom of the image, very nice though

I like the shot, but agree about the cropping of the stones.
On my monitor and to my eyes it looks a tiny bit soft but i am having my eyes tested on Wednesday next so...do not take too much notice!

Brian - great capture, but it is soft and Barries' crop suggestion is bang on.

For 200ISO that OoF BG looks really grainy/noisy - is this a severe crop from full frame, or are you shooting compressed jpeg??

Comp wise you have the right idea though :toast: - and that's the important thing - as Ansel Adams once said "There's nothing worse than a sharp photograph of a fuzzy idea"

So overall NICE ONE

Agree with the other suggestions re the crop - I also think you wouls have benifited from shooting at f5.6, especially as the shot was handheld, you would have achieved an even sharper result with a better OOF BG!
