Folks - I was on a 2 week vacation in India and had limited or no access to internet ( not because of technical difficulties, but because of lack of time ). Just got back yesterday. Had a chance to camp in one of south India's peaks - called Thadiyandamol about 4500 ft. The view from the campsite in the early morning was breathtaking. Here is one of the shots that we took. Will post more on ESS. Guess the foreground needs a bit more dodging - let me know.
Great vantage point. I would like to see more foreground detail, and maybe a bit more color in the sky (if there was more color). Maybe a GND would have helped? The hanging fog is a really nice touch. There is a sensor dust spot right in the middle of the pic...and easy fix. As is, I would crop some of the sky off as most of the interest lies in the bottom half of the photo.
