Just reporting they are at the stores today in the U.S. I think I'll first go out and try it with the 100-400.

A good friend of mine was the first on the waiting list with one dealer so maybe I will be able to get my hands on his in the next week or so.

The most interesting feature on the camera for us is probably Live View. I assume the upcoming 1DsII will also have this function. When enabled, pressing the set button causes the mirror to lock up and the LCD to work like a digicam. The view cam be zoomed and panned, making manual focus very precise. For macro and tilt lenses this will allow for very precise focus. It's possible it will also be usable for supertele users who use mirror lockup, allowing the photographer to select the right moment to shoot. I'm sure bird photographers will be playing with this feature to figure out how it may be used.
The camera is fast at everything. It's always ready. The new customizable menu is great.
I wouldn't hesitate to use the camera at ISO 3200. There's noise but it's not excessive, and the images look very normal.
14 bits does show better gradation, especially in dark areas. But I need to make some enlargements and compare to the 5D. I think 14 bits is a real improvement, but it's going to take awhile to get a feel for how much better the images enlarge. I expect images that are edited with heavy use of curve type tools will hold up better than 12 bit.
