Sunflowers

I live in the far east end of GA, and need to find some blooming sunflowers. Any idea where or when they might bloom in this area? :confused: Thanks Bob

Bob,
Not sure where in Ga you live, but there is a house with a 10 acre field about a mile down the road from my house that is planted with sunflowers every year. I would have to check to see if they are blooming. I will drive by there today and check it out and let you know. I live in North Macon by the way.

Bob,
I checked the field out friday and for whatever reason there are no sunflowers this year. Not sure if it is because of the drought or what. I will talk to a friend of mine who is a local farmer and let you know if he knows of any fields of sunflowers. Have a great Memorial Day!
