I'm travelling up to Macclesfield from Gloucester on Monday and I'm looking for somewhere to spend the day. I would like to spend the time chasing dragons and chasers but wildlife in general would be of interest. I could goto Lathkill Dale but I did that last year and I'm happy with the images I got then so I've already struck that off the list.

Ideally between Stafford and Macclesfield, any suggestions please?

Hi Kevin,

I see your not having much luck with your request for info, i was looking forward to hearing some too as i live in the south derby area and was looking to hijack some of the suggestions

It appears as pretty as it is it's not a wildlife hotspot, unless you want dippers!!!
Cheers

Hi Kevin,

You could try Doxey Marshes which is on the N W. edge of Stafford.
