Common Blue Damselfly
Hi to all,
Common Blue Damselfly , photographed at Potteric this morning , I'd planned on photographing the Four spots but none were active due the chilly conditions , so rather than leave with nothing the Common Blues were subjected to my ugly mug peering down at them.
It was quite breezy this morning so keeping the subject in the frame was a challenge , so heres one of the better shots I managed , thanks for looking.

Levels , Usm(150,0.3,3 x2) , S/h , cropped.

Canon 20D , 300mmF4IS , Man055ProB , 468 Ball head
1/200 @ F11 iso400 E/c-1/3 jpeg

All comments and advice most welcome

Kind regards
Andy...

Superb Andrew, you've done well in those conditions. That diffused light is perfect for this subject. :toast:
