First Shot I Thought Was Art
I'm feeling a bit nostalgic, I just reworked this image, the first I took that I thought was really a peice of art. It was 3.5 years ago, I shot this with my 10D. This is actually a different frame than the original, but very similar.

I like it Zack. I can see why it would have a special place in your archives.

That certainly is art, Zack! Is it Yellowstone?

Zack, I like these kinds of shots.....the ones we all take when we are just starting out...

its amazing to see how far we have come....

This shot is a great first shot and shows your potential. Knowing where you are now in your photography really shows that!

This is one of the best compositions you have in your collections, Zack. Every bit as strong as the recent stuff minus a few megapixels. A very dynamic image with interest everywhere. It's a beautiful image that also gives a great sense of place.

To date, this is unquestionably one of my 5 favorite Yellowstone shots from anybody. A capture to be proud of for sure.

Grand Prismatic? I'll be there in a couple of weeks, hope I come home with something half as nice as this, sweet shot!

The mist (?) rising off the water puts this way over the top. Nice stuff.
