I got to enjoy another wedding reception for one of my wife's co-worker's daughter last night ... an all too common event I always look forward too. One good thing came out of the night, the flower arrangements included a vase of Gerbera Daisies which found their way home with us. I set up in the kitchen window this morning and shot several comps with soft backlight. Here's one I kind of liked. Hope you're having a great holiday weekend!

Sounds like you had everything but the kitchen sink hooked onto that 100-400! (Bet it was long!) Nice detail for f32, and certainly an interesting subject. I love the different shades of red in the background petals.
Holy cow, Wayne! That must have been quite a setup. But your efforts appear to be well-rewarded. Lovely comp and super detail, and the color is sublime. I hope your having a good weekend too - thanks for the post!
