Name the Falls.

This is not a perspective you see very often of this waterfall...

Yesterday was an incredible day for hiking and being out in the wilderness...

I really worked this area and feel I came home with some great shots to add to my collection....

Please let me know what you think of this comp!!!

Much appreciated...

Darren

Tunnel Falls at the bottom of a very slippery bank. Nice image, the composition works for me.

I don't know what falls it is. All I know is that it's a nice image.

Nice image!

I'll guess Tunnel Falls, too - based on the basalt columns over on the right, and the pile of bones from fallen hikers...

No guesses from me but I like the comp.

Definitely Tunnel Falls. No doubt about it. Pretty windy down there, huh?

Marc, yeah, you could say that...the spray off the falls is brutal...what a great place to be!!! I actually got a full shot similar to your comp....

but its sure a place I would like to hike up to early in the morning and spend the day down there just hanging out.....and maybe walk the creek down a bit to see what there is....

Darren, no doubt you've looked down into the area where the two forks come together? It looks pretty cool, though I've never seen close-up images. Some very deep pools, lots of basalt and a small falls is my recollection... then the sizeable falls below the junction.

I've got a theory that one of Marc's mystery falls is upstream from Tunnel, where there's another mapped drop on the East Fork... and I'm referring to this one, also pictured over here in a really nice view from above. But I won't ask you to reveal any hard-earned secrets, Marc!
