Anyone here make it to TRR for opening weekend? I shot the Never Summer Range both sunrise & sunset. The sunset last night was great; still haven't developed my film. There was a great shot to be had of rain and orange mist coming down over Long's Peak last night. I couldn't get it in time but I saw someone with a 4x5 shooting it. Here's sunrise from Sat. morning - 8 verticals stiched from a 5D.
I shot this same scene with a 150mm on 4x5, and just looking at the slide with a loop, I think I actually like it a little bit better than the stiched image.
Tony, I can't wait to see you 4x5 with the sunset. I like the pano above - great job on the stich. It does a great job of portraying the expansiveness and coldness of the range. I love putting panos together when I can - which makes me one sick puppy!
