Here's a shot from the Lower Blue Lake in the Sneffels Range this weekend. (Not so blue yet!)
Some friends and I camped here for three nights this weekend, using it as our basecamp to hike and ski/snowboard each morning. This was pretty much my only "scenic" shot from the trip... mostly I had fun taking action shots. I posted some of them on this page: http://www.widerange.org/gallery.php?gallery=spring2007 (the last four on the page are from this trip). It's hard for me to take snowboard photography too seriously, since I'd rather ride myself and never want to stop to take photos. But I did manage to take a couple.
Yeah, almost everything steep has slid. The last month's weekly foot+ snowfalls just kept sliding off the steep stuff. It was kind of a bummer to get up here and see all the runs blown out. However, we did find some great smooth runs that hadn't slid, and managed to get excellent rides all three days.
Oh, P.S. - Did you notice how much snow is still up there?!! It's got to be a good sign for an abundant wildflower season in Yankee Boy, etc. later in the summer.

Nikon D80, 12mm
I'll wait for a little more green before making that hike.
Scott - yep, beacons, shovels, probes, crampons, ice axes... and an alarm clock to get early starts while the snow is still frozen!
