I like it's really small 0.258 dot-pitch, and high 1600x1200 resolution, with DVI-D input.
I'm wondering if it has individual RGB gain controls and temperature controls (either preset to standard 9000/6500/5000K settings or with slider bars). The specifications on the DELL website don't mention this.
Also if anybody uses this in conjunction with the ColorVision SPYDER2 PRO, I'd love to hear about your opinion.
Actually never mind. The Dell USA website has this information, the Canadian one doesn't. But it would still be nice to hear feedback from owners, especially ones using a Spyder2 PRO to calibrate it.
Ashutosh; I have been using the 2000FP monitor for a year at work and am extremely happy with it. I love the non-glare screen and the color was perfect when it first came up in PC Standard mode. I have tweaked the contrast a bit but thats all. I run at 1600 x 1200 all the time and even the small text is crisp and easy to read. My photos look great on it. I have a few photos taken from my office window that I can install as wallpaper and compare with the real view and the colors are just like real life. I am VERY confident that you would love this monitor. It has been trouble free and the only gripe I have is that it has two USB jacks in the middle of the left side of the screen which results in wires hanging out in space when you use them (consequently I rarely use them). Go for it -- it will be money well spent.
