The Rhodies Are Starting (Memorial Day Sunrise)
The rhodies are blooming on the Parkway. This is the overlook just north of Graveyard Fields. I just happened upon this scene not knowing exactly where to go Monday. I posted this in ESS but wanted to put it here too for a rhodie update. I also would appreciate any comments/suggestion on my processing since I'm learning CS3. Thanks! :wavey:

Looks good, Alice. No nits with your composition or anything else - except for some flare that could be cleaned up a little (patch tool).

The processing looks fine to me, unless there is some specific question you had about PS.

wow. the one time I was able to make it up to the mountains in KY in fall, I was trying to get a shot like this of the sunset but the light was way too harsh w/ the sun in it. that is a nice jumble of flowers in the front.
