Buzzard at take off
Had a trip to Gigrin yesterday so expect to see some RedKite shots from me in the future  .For now here's a Buzzard taking off from one of the post's.Oh and the local sheep thought they would get in on the shot aswell  , hence the tighter crop.

great dramatic shot, nice and sharp and the sheep give a sense of place

Great timing; lovely action shot. Personally, I would prefer it without the white blobs in the background!

Great timing Alan, although the white blobs do distract a little. Still great though!

Regards Chris.

Hi Alan,

I like the white blobs! Is very typical of where I see Buzzards in my part of South Wales. Sharp, dramatic and well exposed - ticks all the right boxes for me!

Great action but can't see past the white blobs, I'm afraid. Mind you, its better that there is enough depth of field and some detail so they are obviously sheep. I have a similar shot with a heron and the blobs are 'real blobs', so it looks very odd. :toast:

Hi Alan,
Lovely sharp image and caught at a really photogenic moment.
I think I'd prefer to have the whole of the sheep visible or preferably none at all in this instance with it being such a strong dynamic pose.
Although saying that I can appreciate they don't take off to order (unless your names Vince of course   )
Still a fine shot though and a well caught moment. :toast:
