Using Curves in CS2 on a Mac

It makes sense to have a histograph to work from. But in my version, the window is blank except for gridlines, there is no graph of the image in the Curves window to drag the points to, & no check boxes to set preferences. Is this a Mac version problem or a CS2 problem?

Sounds strange to me. May be an obvious question, but is the Preview box checked?

Hank, the Preview is checked, and shows results in actual image. It does not show a graph in the curves window - checked or unchecked. Are there plug-ins that affect this adjustment.

I'm not familar with a Mac, so this may be way off base, but in CS2 for a PC there's never been a histogram graph in the curves window until CS3. Is CS2 for Mac different?

There is no histogram plotted in the Curves window of CS2 on my Mac G4 running OS X 10.4.9 - just a set of horizontal and vertical grid lines and the bottom left to top right Curves line. Click on the line to add drag points, or Command-click in the image to set a drag point based on a color/tone in the image.

Pat,

Ditto for Richard's comments; however, in Nikon Capture you get both the histogram and the grid lines.
