Ha Ha Tonka Natural Bridge
From yesterday. Not an Ernst, still trying to learn.

Nice feel to this one Larry. Love the luminous quality the backlight provides, and the soft, warm tones of the bridge rock too. I might have tried a version with the bright sky at the top cropped, but I really like the overall comp.

I just know that if I were to walk under this natural bridge that's exactly when it would come down! I too like the backlight and earth tones of the bridge. This shot gives a good sense of place. Nice to see your work Larry! :wavey:

Well - this place is now added to my list of places to visit. I do like the light you found . It might be interesting to play around with a vertical crop of this. Thanks for posting!

Very nice Larry. I have tried before to get a good picture of this bridge and so far have not been pleased with my results. I like what you did here. Did you get up by the watertower and check out all the coneflowers? I was there over the weekend and got several pictures there. Heading back down there in the morning too.

Tim, kind of an overcast day, probably helped. I also have a vertical that shows some sky and more of the top of the bridge. I have not decided if it is better, or just different. Thanks

Dale,
We were there for only a few hours, saw the castle and drove around some. Too darned windy for any flower photos. Saw lots of coneflowers along the road, black eyed susans and daisies too. Thanks.
