Well, yeah. The title pretty much sums it up. This taken from near treeline way off trail in Rainier park just as the sun was starting to appear again.

Really nice, Marc - I like the careful separation of trees at the top while creating your composition.

Great work! Fog is the ultimate background enhancer. I love that the FG retains all the color and detail while the BG trees are simple graphic representations fading into the glow. I'm hoping to get up there in July this year and might contact you about good locations/trails, or even off-trails like this if you are willing to share.

Mmmmh! love it! the right mood for a really big print! (actually I can't really imagine any better daytime weather while being in the mountains, especially if there are wildflowers around)

ha, just lurking in... georg

Can't beat this one with a stick, Marc, it pretty much has it all!

It will be interesting to see if there is much in the way of vegetation adjacent to small streams left after last November's rain. Hopefully we'll be shooting scenes like this up at Rainier in another couple of months. Wildflowers and fog; can't beat that combo.

Wow, Marc, this is amazing. The atmosphere, your incredible compositional skill, and the perfect cascade make this a truly magical image. What a gem!

Beautiful! This is a good reminder for me NOT to skip the alpine areas during wet spells -- I have a habit of doing canyon hikes whenever its overcast, and mountains when its sunny. This photo definitely inspires me to shake up that habit a bit! Really nice, Marc.

Really beautiful atmosphere here, Marc.... the bottom water almost seems cropped too tight for me. I don't know, there is so much nice space around everything else, but the water. Kind of feels tilted to the Right a tad. I love it and doubt if the mountain will look this good this year...
