Brown Pelican and Friend
An adult californicus and I believe the friend is a Willet, captured at the restored habitat of Crissey Field, The Presidio, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, San Francisco, California.

Well it is apparent I have managed to misplace this post, it was intended to be a California Region, can any moderator assist this move.

Charles: You can simply delete from this forum and repost. I don't have the clearance to move it from this forum but you can on the edit page. Great shot BTW.

Charles...Don't delete this thread. I have asked Jim Erhardt to move it to CANP for us.

Nice shot - I like the eye contact and coloring of the head feathers - good DOF also.
The flocks of pelicans seem to be getting larger/more frequently seen now. With all this fog, ground shots like this one are definitely the way to go.

Very nice:

I don't have much to nitpick about... So that's all the feedback I can provide.

Very lovely, Charles. The light is gorgeous!

The juxtaposition of the two birds makes this a delightful photograph.
