Hi to all,
Male Broard-bodied , photographed at Potteric yesterday afternoon , quite a few bbc's were flying along with some four-spots and loads of newly emerged black-tails.
I've been scouring my local patches for dragonflies but they seem to be pretty few in number. Anyone else experience a high/low number this year. Wondered if the very dry spring has had an effect. Lovely shot. Clean up the gossamer and its perfect. Is Potteric especially good for dragonflies?
Hi to all,
Thanks for your comments their much appreciated , here's the repost minus the spider web.
Hi Elliott , Potteric is very good for dragons , if you visit at the right time you can expect to see the following , Southern , Common , Brown and Migrant Hawkers also Emperor and Black-tailed , Broad-bodied and Four-Spotted Chasers.

I'd be tempted to do a little judicious tidying up (of spiders webs etc) with the clone brush but other than that - superb.
