Suggestive Rocks
Another from the archives, this one from my Utah trip. Curious about what you think of this one.

I like it, though that might just be a Freudian reaction... a few miles south, and you might have had a saguaro poking out of the landscape, too (as Freud said, "Sometimes a saguaro is just a saguaro.")

The clouds are perfect, but the sandstone seems a little flat - maybe a bit more contrast and/or saturation on the lower portion of the image? I like the distorted field - what lens were you using?

Here is a version with some contrast added to the FG, I also remembered to convert it to sRBG and embed the profile, it's amazing what a difference that makes.

Wow - that's a big improvement, especially in the immediate foreground. Nice!

I still think this thread needs a parental advisory...

The second post is sweet. I actually love the clouds in this shot as much as the foreground. Nicely exposed and processed.

#2 for me. This image takes you on a ride!

Zack,
Ya know...you had a beautiful sky going here, but it feels like it was a little too long of a shutter speed for them...or maybe longer was the ticket.
That being said...I actually think with the title, you need to crop this to a square of only the rocks, then pump the curves up something like this...

Love the movement in this image. The clouds mimicking the rocks beneath add strong tension. Nice detail throughout and interesting shapes in the FG
