A few from the Dunes
A made a quick trip to the Dunes last weekend - 4th time at the dunes but first time I saw Medano Creek flowing by the parking lot. There weren't too many flowers out, but the creek is flowing pretty nicely.

I like the colors/brightness of these images on my monitor, but am concerned they may be a bit dark. What do you think?

Nice Tony, love the first and third shots, last one seems a bit funky in the colors/contrast. Its interesting to me how the highlights on the dunes in your third shot have picked up some of the blue, while the dunes remain pretty sandy looking. I seem to have gotten a bit of a blue-cast on my sunset shots (see my RMNP post below and on the ESS forum today) which has drawn some critique, so im curious what you think about the dune colors.

All are excellent shots, but all seem to be a little dark on my monitor.

Very sweet shots, Tony. They got better as I scrolled down, with 3 & 4 being my favorites. (or, maybe 2&3) I agree with Mel, that they look just a tad dark. Nice work!

The third shot is so awesome!!! I also really like the second one too. Looks like you had a very successful trip!

2nd and 3rd are really nice! The last one seems dark to me, but just a bit. It definitely looks like you had a good trip.

I love the pastels in #3. VERY nice.
Too bad you couldn't get more color reflecting in the creek.

Thank you all for your comments. It's a lot fun to try to capture the creek & dunes. For some reason I'm fond of the 1st one in this series - it would have been a good place to try to capture the pink sunrise clouds from shot #3.

I like all of these, especially the last one, or the first one cropped from the bottom to remove the cloud reflections. Thanks for sharing.
