This has to be one of my all time favorite wildflower ocean scenes from Mark Adamus:

Any idea what those flowers are, maybe wild iris or???

They are some type of wild Iris. I'm guessing Iris missouriensis

If you like those Iris, there are lots along 285 in South Park between Kenosha Pass and Red Hill. I'm guessing that they would be in bloom right now.

Cool Mel,

I've never been up to Kenosha Pass. I'll have to check it out sometime.

I love the sky/clouds in the Mark Adamus image.

I took this shot og iceplant near Sunset Beach in Pacific Grove - sunset, late April.

Mr. Adamus definitely has a knack for getting those clouds.

Thats a nice iceplant and ocean shot you've got there Mike.
