Feather

Captured on Second Beach, Olympic National Park. I couldn't think of a good title for this one. Suggestions are welcome.

The feather is a great motion vector, points you right to the (whatever it is). A good sea scene, I'd love to see a receding wave down in the lower left corner, could make a great PS fun project!

Dosen't work for me at all. It's a feather and....well...seaweed chunk of some kind? all alone in flat light. Once again, this may be more an indicator of my personal preferences for landscapes/nature photography than critique, but this evokes no emotional response of any kind from me.

I'm sure there are many people who would find this boring. What I see here is a mystery of how the feather ended up here. I wonder where the bird is now. I guess I see it as an abstract piece of nature with an unknown story in the background.
