Went up to Vancouver for the weekend, and shot a bit in Stanley Park. Got a pretty amazing sunset one of the evenings. I was attracted to this strange hole in the rocks. It almost seemed like a secret passage to another world. I have many compos from this evening, but for some reason this horizontal one seemed to want to be post processed first. I'd love to hear your constructive criticism.

Nice flow to this composition. The foreground lines and shapes are a great compliment to the sunset. The ship helps balance out the horizon, but I wish it was a more photogenic ship

Yeah, I considered cloning out that ship, but I though the same thing about it balancing the upper left corner. It would be pretty bare without that (ugly) ship. Would be much better if it were a junk, but those are a couple oceans away:)

Thanks for the crit. I appreciate it.

I think that this has a nice flow, and colors. I would see it even without the big ship as the smal ones will still provide god interest.

I was going to take a shot close to here two weeks ago - this is by Second Beach on the way to English Bay ?
great catch of the pools reflecting and the stream leading in
