Fire in the Sky
Taken last week. The horizon was very orange, but there was a lack of interesting clouds very far above the horizon making wider angle shots with a lot of sky fairly boring with lots of plain blue sky and little orange along the horizon. I zoomed in with a 400mm for this. It isn't espeically exciting, but its all I have for now. Photographs of my daughter still greatly outnumber anything else for the time being.

This image really takes me back, my grandmother had a picture of this place, composed similarly to this image on her wall when I was just a wee lad. I like the placement of the horizon line.

On the screen it's not doing a lot for me, but I'm thinking this is one that would be a lot more interesting printed...

I thing it does have some good mood to it. The sky is nice and it is nicely composed. Like Curtis said, maybe it would come across better printed, framed and hanging in an office somewhere.
