Nice site overall, Chris. I do have a couple of suggestions that I feel could improve it a bit.
1) On my system, OSX w/firefox, the text in the menu is very hard to read. I can see it, but it would be better if it was slightly easier to read.
2) The font that you used to identify the locations of the photographs is very hard to read. I couldn't make out many of the locations.
3) I like the image that you have at the top of the page on the homepage..but once you get into you galleries I feel that having that second image on the page distracts from the image in the portfolio.
I really like the journal part of your site, it was interesting to read about your experiences in some of these places.

Thank you Matt, I am running windows xp with firefox. I do not have that issue and was hoping that someone running OSX would reply. I will work on the fonts and image description text. I also like the header suggestion. Thanks again.
