Osprey
Taken just after 0700 this morning at one of my local lakes a few miles from my home. Not what I normally expect to see and I gather from local fishermen it has been around for a while and fishes several times each day. It appears to be an adult - could it be breeding? Unfortunately when it caught a fish it was at the other end of the lake - looks like I will be having a few early mornings!

'Patience is a virtue, aspired to by the many, achieved by the few' Hang on in there, and that
fishing shot will come. Good image for starters. :toast: :toast:

Great shot David. Not a species you'd expect to see in Southern England at this time of year.

Hi David

You seem to get the correct BG every time. This could be the highlands based on the BG pines!
