Art Walk
I just wanted to put in a plug for the Art Walk that's being held on the Bentonville square next Saturday, the 16th, from 10:00-8:00. I'm going to have 20 or so framed prints on display at the Chamber of Commerce office, just south of the jail . There will be some outstanding work by many local artists in various concentrations, along with some kid art that is always great. I'll have some fruit, and some meat and cheese (and who knows what to drink in back ) Hope some of you guys can make it!

BTW, I'm not sure what everyone's favorite print paper is, but I have just been thrilled with Inkjetart's micro ceramic paper the last few days. I compared some HM Fine Art Pearl, and the IJA blows it away on gamut, and is about half the price. If you haven't used any, it's definitely worth a try .

Way to go Bill! Sounds like a great venue for you! Wish I could make it but I've got a full boat for my workshop this weekend, but the best of luck - and I hope you don't have anything to take home with you left!

I've always liked the IJA papers and they continue to expand with new papers and new sizes - the best deal on fine art papers that I know of...

Good luck at the show Bill. Hopefully there will be a lot of attendees with a wallet full of money looking for art! I'm sure you'll do well.

I've been using the IJA Micro Ceramic Luster for a couple of years now and it's great! I'd highly recommend it.

Maybe you guys can help but I am in the market for a good archival mat paper for use with my framed works. I still get some out gassing even when I let the luster paper breathe for days. Any suggestions on your favorite archival mat media? Thanks in advance!

My favorite mat paper these days is Hawk Mountain Condor, although the old standard Ham. Photo Rag is tough to beat - you should not have outgassing issues with these...

Sounds like fun. I'll try get up that way if the honey-do's don't get me. Good luck to you!
