I am trying to work out a cross platform upgrade from Photoshop CS2 for Windows to Photoshop CS3 for Mac but I'm hitting a stumbling block. I cannot download the Letter of Destruction required for the exchange to take place. The Adobe customer service tech is able to open and download the LOD with no problem, but when I type in the same URL I get Error: Page Not Found. Would someone please download this PDF and email it to me? The URL is:

http://www.adobe.com/support/pdfs/lod_exchange.pdf

My email address, sans $ signs is $robertrowe2$ at mac.com

Thank you very much!

Kelly

Kelly - I saw the same problem. So I ran a search. Try this web page :

Well, at least they'll talk to you - I've had a support case open with them for several days now and they can't be bothered to reply .

Moving from Windows to Mac is called a "cross-grade". You may have to call Adobe directly to get the process started.

I hate Adobe customer service. I wanted a refund on a prepayment for Lightroom that I never downloaded and they gave me such a run around that after 3 months I gave up and downloaded Lightroom and still never got my refund. I hope I never buy another Adobe product as long as I live!

That is why I buy the packaged product. It is easy to return it still in shrink wrap and get your money back. They have no way of confirming whether you are still using a downloaded instance. With the shrink wrapped package, there is something tangible to show that you are not using the product.
