Hi Phil,
Beautiful bird and pose. I reckon you should desaturate the green background as its brightness brings it forward and makes it quite dominant IMHO.
Great shot though.

Hello Phil
Great looking bird and you look as though you have quite a low angle from that hide.

What a fab shot of one of my favourite birds, focus, exposure everything spot on! I agree with Tim though on trying it with desaturating the green a bit.

Can I ask what type of WWS hide you're using and how you get on with it?

Cheers :toast:

Hi Phil

Stunning lighting and the leg just raised showing the foot, brilliant!!
Was this from your low hide in the reeds?

Very nice, and the white have held well but I would echo Tims comments about the green saturation - a bit to luminenient.

It's all fine for me. Beautiful image Phil. Green doesn't bother me at all. Colours compliment each other :toast:

Hi Phil,

The BG does not bother me at all. Top notch shot in every way. Looks like your having fun with the new toy!

A beautiful shot.
Two things that make this a bit special for me,other than the superb subject matter of course, are the raised foot and that gorgeous strip of background colour which IMHO really enhances the overall image and makes for a particularly attractive setting.
Superbly processed too.

Phil, Really nice shot, the detail in the whites is amazing. Really shows what the M3 is capable of.

Where was it taken?
