Took my daughter to Leighton Moss on Sat, watched a Bittern flying overhead whilst my ready camera sat on the shelf????? Can you believe that, I keep kicking myself. Oh well, decided June not a good time for Leighton, not much about. Shot this deer through hazy light, had to crop off top half as local farmer has a pile of gear right in line of view unfortunately.

Cheers now

Nice shot Tim,

Leighton does quieten down in the summer somewhat. Although I've had amazing views of bittern feeding young mid summer.

I like this shot a lot Tim - you've handled the light nicely and the crop REALLY works for me - so no 'unfortunately' required :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast:

I think the crop actually adds to it Tim. Very nice to see the Antler Buds forming.

I just have a thing about trees, I'm a secret tree hugger, the tree I've had to remove is full of character, but still it seems it doesn't matter

Hi Tim,

Shame about the bittern but you have bagged yourself a stunning shot with this Deer.

I love the colurs and the 3D effect it has.

Dear me, I bet you were Red faced about missing the Bittern. Never mind this image goes someway to make up for it. Well done.

Hazy but nice.

I think it is a bit of a shame you had to crop the top though.
