Some of you will be aware that PhilH hasn't been around on the forum much recently as his wife was very ill with cancer, sadly she passed away on Sunday.
I'm sure you'll all join me in expressing our condolences and support for Phil at this sad time for him - hang in there Phil.
(ps. I believe Phil has managed to mislay his personal mobile in the middle of all this, so has lost a few of your phone no's, so can't keep in touch. I'm sure once he's had a chance to sort things out, then he'll be asking for some contact details again.)
My girlfriend died a few years back. Terrible time for me, and I`m sure now for you. Best wishes, and remember the good times you had together.

My condolences to your Phil. Be well, and be sure to look after yourself, as i'm sure she would have wanted you to. If there's anything at all that I can do to help, just feel free to ask.
I am sorry to hear of your tragic loss, words are totally inadequate at these times.
I too lost two dear people this last week to cancer, one a good friend of 28 years and the other my mother in law. One after 10 weeks and the other after a two year battle. No matter how well you are prepared, I know, it hurts.
I just had to take the opportunity to thank you all for your very very kind words, they are very much appreciated by our children and myself. It is hard to describe how one feels at a time like this and difficult to say how just a few kind words help with the grief, but they do.....
very sorry to hear such news, there are few things that can bring any comfort at such times, but be sure that we are all thinking of you phil. my sincere condolences.
I know how devastating cancer can be. I am a cancer patient. I've been on the cancer rollercoaster for the past three years. I've had Chemo, Radiation, surgery, and so many scans and tests that I've lost count. I haven't shaken the beast, but I continue to try.
My family, my husband and grandson that I'm raising, have had their lives turned inside-out ever since my diagnosis. I can't begin to tell them how much it means to me to have them standing by my side throughout all of this. Their presence and support lets me know that my life has meant something. I'm guessing that your wife felt completed and comforted by your presence and support. I am so sorry for what you've endured and so sorry for your loss. If you ever need someone to talk to, please e-mail me.
