Another one from this weekend, its hard to be at work with so much going on out there at the moment the flowers are stonking at this time of year.

Cheers

Tim
D2X, 300mm f/4 (posting these from work so can't remember settings) Probably F/6.3 this one.

I hate you guys - I've seen a few demoiselles this year and that's all!

Very very nice image Tim - great compositon and spot on focus

Like Barrie, demoiselles are all I've seen so far. Mind you I am concentrating on Wool Carder Bees at the moment. Superb shot.

Hi Tim,

Great shot! We have loads of these flying around by now too. I have to disagree on the "male" part as i think this is a female. I know the males can be slightly yellow when young, but ths one looks fully coloured and therefore i would suggest it is a female.

I really like the way the perch matches the BG in this one!

Greetings,

Jeroen Stel

Hi Tim,
Lovely shot , pin sharp and cracking detail , regarding it's gender I have to agree with Jeroen , the colouration and anal appendages say it's a female.
Can I ask where you photographed this superb beastie ???

Kind regards
Andy...
