Common Redstart-Phoenicurus phoenicurus
Hi Guys,

Allthough these birds are called "common"-Redstarts, they are not common at all in our regions so it is allways a joy to get one in front of my lens!
Shot this one from a hide in the forest near Nunspeet/The Netherlands some time ago.

Greetings,

Jeroen Stel

Beautiful, they always look dressed for an occasion. Love the strong colours.

A lovely shot.Perhaps just a fraction more space behind, and more importantly, above the bird, but that's being picky on a very attractive portrait. :toast:

Excellent capture, a bit tight left and too tight top are my only nits but they are only minor - nice one :toast:
