Who all is interested in joining us at the humble Lamb Abode for an evening of mutual mind share on Photoshop & Lightroom up on the big screen?? We did several of these last year and folks really enjoyed the whole experience!! So please reply here if you wish to join us. We'll work on setting a date if enough folks express interest!!!
Nancy & I are more than willing to host this event and all we ask for in return is a contribution to the pizza/beverage fund.
Or maybe this time we could do a pot luck?? I'm open to suggestions. We have a big enough grill we could do burgers maybe??
So bring your questions and we will use our mutual knowledge base to try to help you solve your issues.
As far as a date goes I'm thinking a Saturday would work best.
I'm in for sure, and would enjoy a pre-workshop photo outing if there's enough interest to capture some images before relaxing at the Lamb's.

Rick and Nancy,
Assuming I'm in town, I definitely would be interested in participating -- though frankly it is a little far from your place to mine :-). Also a pot luck sounds like a good idea.

OK folks how does July 21st look for folks???? Say 1pm at the humble Lamb abode??? If you need directions please feel free to email me and I will send them to you.
Sounds great! I'd be happy to drive up from Portland for the day - and share driving with anyone else from down here - most Saturdays are fine with me, with a bit of notice. (Assuming those non-Puget Sound but still PNW peoople are also welcome??)
Thanks!
Sandy

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally!!! I didn't know the text limit was that BIG for post titles!!! LOL!! So it looks like July 21st is the day!! Yes Bryan a hike up to Tin Cup Joe Falls sounds like a perfect fit to me. We can meet up here at the Humble Lamb Abode at say 6am then drive up to the trailhead. Once done there we caravan back to the Lamb Abode and get busy with the potluck and BBQing of grub!!

I may get my hands on a press pass to shoot the NHRA Nationals that weekend. If it doesn't work out, I'll be looking forward to coming up and seeing you folks again :)
Hey Rick, my love,
Would you post this in the events section as well? Just a thought.
And maybe you want to put the date in that short title so folks can get the quick view of things to come?
Just a thought

Howdy folks, I have good news & I have bad news. The bad news first - I have to postpone the July 21st workshop here at the humble Lamb Abode. I am going to have surgery on July 17th and I won't be out of the hospital until maybe the 23rd or later...
Let's please do make all attempts at possibly finding a different home to host this event at. It is VERY clear that we have a LOT of interest in this so I think it would be a real bummer if we let this fall away folks.
So what's the good news you ask? This surgery will finally remedy an ongoing health issue I've been fighting for some four years now. I've been diagnosed with acute diverticulitis. It keeps recurring and really messing up my day to day, week to week, month to month living. In simple terms its been damn annoying so I am VERY motivated to get some lasting relief. Getting past this will be oh so wonderful!! Please keep my beloved and I in your prayers. I'm gonna be a bit of a handful for her for awhile me thinks.
If someone can pick up the hosting for this event that would be oh so tre cool!!!
Thoughts/prayers go out to you Rick. I've heard the name, but didn't know what it really is, so I went to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diverticulitis and see that you have some famous people along side you! Best wishes.
Note: I too will not be able to make a July 21st event.
It's a nasty surgery. What Rick did not say is that he won't be up for a hike or for lifting ANYTHING for at least a month if not 6 weeks.
I'm hoping that Brian will be willing to lead the hike again in late September or early October.
I'm also hoping Rick will have regained enought strength by then to join in the fun.
In the meantime, is there anyone willing to host this event? I highly recommend the title of this evetn be edited to reflect this change of venue. The Lamb Fam is not available at all on the 21st.

Sound good so far folks??
I'm thinking we might want to start a list of topic requests. I"ll happily help compile a list.
Simon - be beary careful out in the Ridge. You might get lost between your place and ours.
