Hey Bill, I talked to my daugher in Steamboat today and asked her how it is looking on rabbit ears right now. She said there is still some snow up there and that it will be a couple of weeks before the wild flowers really get good.
I was there last year the second week in July and the area was one of the best I saw last year. Here is a link to my gallery from last year. The last 14 shots are from the Rabbit ears area. http://www.tomkennonphotography.com/gallery.php

Thanks Tom, that's very useful, I did get some shots up there last year but was a little late.
Your photos are very good. I can't get there until after the 12th so we'll see what we get.
